Prayer Groups

St. Matthew’s offers numerous opportunities to gather in prayer beyond our weekly services. Check out one of the many ways you can take part and be on the lookout for additional seminars and workshops that may be scheduled during the year.

Centering Prayer

On the first Saturday of each month at 8:30am, members of the community meet online for this refreshing experience that takes only about thirty minutes. All are welcome, even if you’ve never prayed the Rosary before.

Psalmathon

Each year around Lent, St. Matthew’s holds an annual reading of the Psalms, divided into two separate weekend mornings. Come for this unique event for the full morning, for an hour, or even twenty minutes.

Advent and Lent Quiet Days

Delve further into these seasons at our Quiet Days, which offer engaging ways to explore spirituality.

Small Groups

Our small group program during the school year is called Emmaus and is structured in three 10-week periods: fall, winter and spring. Emmaus groups meet weekly, usually for about an hour and a half, in a relaxed and informal environment. Each group chooses its own topic of study, ministry projects and each has its own distinctive character and is a wonderful way to pray regularly and enjoy other activities with a dedicated group of people.
